Beat the Heat — Pool Parties for Dogs at Daycare

Dogs cool themselves through their paws and by panting. Adding water gives them a much more efficient way to drop their core temperature, which means they can keep playing safely longer than they could on dry land in the same heat.

Pool play only works if it's supervised the way real play should be. Our trained handlers are in the water area the entire time, watching body language and rotating dogs in and out so no one overdoes it. Hand-drying afterward keeps everyone comfortable — and yes, that means no crates under blowers.
