Mobile grooming FAQs
Why does mobile grooming cost more than a salon?
Mobile grooming is a personalized, attentive session with the highest-quality products and professional groomers — delivered to your driveway. We are not simply a mobile version of an average storefront.
How long does an appointment take?
Most appointments are finished in 1 to 1½ hours, so your pet is back to their family quickly without sitting in a cage between steps.
Will you need to plug into our home?
No. Our vans are fully equipped with fresh water and electricity — no hookups required.
What is your service area?
We service all of Nassau County and the Hamptons.
Is there a weight or size limit?
No. Planet Pooch loves and accommodates dogs of all weights and sizes.
What if my dog is matted or aggressive?
Tell us in advance. Severely matted dogs may need to be shaved for their safety (additional fees apply). Overly aggressive dogs hindering the grooming process may incur additional fees, or in rare cases be refused service.
Do we need to be home for the appointment?
No. Established clients may leave keys or access codes for convenient service.
