Memorial Day Weekend Boarding

Memorial Day Weekend is the unofficial start of summer on Long Island, and boarding requests jump the second the calendar flips to May. If your pup needs a place to stay, here's what we want you to know so the holiday goes smoothly for both of you.

Book early — really early

By the first week of May, our holiday calendar is filling fast. Luxury and XL suites tend to go first. If you've got plans, lock in the reservation now — it's much easier than scrambling the week before.

What to pack

  • Enough of your dog's regular food for the whole stay
  • Any medications with clear instructions
  • A familiar blanket or toy
  • Emergency contact info and your travel schedule
  • Up-to-date vaccine records if you haven't sent them yet

Setting your dog up for a good stay

If this is your dog's first overnight with us, try a daycare day or two in the weeks leading up. It helps them get familiar with the space, the smells, and the team — so the holiday weekend doesn't feel like a cold start.

Quick add-ons worth considering

A bath at pickup, an enrichment session, or a one-on-one walk add real value to the stay. Talk to us when you book — we'll suggest what fits your dog and your timing.
