About Us

Planet Pooch was established in 2014 by its owner, Andy Gonzaga. At just 17 years old, he began working with his mother, Kathy in the grooming industry. Andy went on to graduate from the New York School of Dog Grooming in 2010, where he obtained his license to groom. While working by his mother’s side for many years, he acquired the necessary skills that allowed him to succeed in this industry. 

Planet Pooch had originated as a mobile grooming company, gaining many clients with pets that feel like family throughout Nassau County. With an interest in expanding their pet services, Planet Pooch has grown into not only a mobile grooming business, but a daycare, and boarding resort as well.
