Doggy Daycare Elmont NY

Regularly attending an interactive doggy daycare can benefit your dog’s health and wellbeing. Your dog can better their social skills, control their weight, help lessen separation anxiety, and lift their confidence, all just by playing with friends!

We strive to make daycare more than just a drop-off point; our goal is to create a space where your dog feels as relaxed and at home as they do with you.

Your dog’s first day at Planet Pooch will be both fun and exciting! While adjusting to a new environment can take some time, our experienced staff is here to help your pooch settle in. With a consistent routine, your dog will soon be making friends and feeling right at home!

We offer two styles of daycare: Group Play and Enrichment

Group play might not be for every dog.

If you find your dog does better individually, we also offer one-on-one enrichment activities:

When Your Pet Returns Home From Our Resort

Your pet will be overjoyed to reunite with you after their day of play! This is what to expect when your furry loved one returns home after a day with us:
  • Your pet will be thrilled to see you after a day of play and socializing! They might have a burst of energy, showing off their excitement with the zoomies.

  • Playing all day is incredibly exciting but can also be tiring! It’s perfectly normal for your dog to return home worn out from an eventful day. They may want to nap for hours, and be ready for a good night’s rest.

  • The excitement of being home can cause your pet to pant and seem a bit thirsty or lethargic. We provide fresh water throughout the day but they may still want to drink more water when they get home and during the night.

  • If your dog is not accustomed to a lot of play and activity, they may come home with tender or slightly limping and some sore muscles after daycare. Be sure to give them plenty of time to rest after their fun-filled day of daycare.

  • Your dog may come home with minor scratches from their playful adventures with their furry friends. Don’t be alarmed, it can sometimes happen when they’re interacting with their new friends.

  • Your dogs are too preoccupied running around and playing with their friends to stay clean, which means they might get a little dirty. We offer bath services that will freshen up your dog so they can go home smelling fabulous.
